Who We Are
Garnier Public Relations provide publicity packages for all stages of a film’s creation, from concept to release.
GPR represents films the world over—from the U.S., Canada, Japan, France, England and Germany—and covers genres that include documentaries, animation, animé, drama, horror, cult, SF, comedy, music concerts, educational, and special interest.
We also cover unit publicity for television series, made-for-television movies, television specials and live stage presentations.
Who Can Afford Not to Be Affordable?
Prior to your campaign commencing, we work together to create the best PR strategies your budget affords. Unless you’re with another agency whose payment protocol is already in place, once all parties sign off on your campaign GRP separates it into an initial, an interim and a final phase that requires payment only after each segment of your campaign is rolled out.
We feel this plan is optimal for individual clients and projects with leaner budgets. So that we can jump out of the chute, a 15% retainer is encouraged—and appreciated.
In addition, for all those little expenses that can otherwise add up, including press release distribution, printing, travel, postage, messenger fees, wire transfers, etc., we never charge extra. We factor these items into your campaign only at cost.
When you’re satisfied, and we’re compensated for tangible results, everyone wins.
Location is Everything
Chicago is one of the world’s iconic cities, a thriving amalgam of art, history, architecture, business and culture. Its urban ethos includes a stellar skyline, a lively pedestrian influence, a spectacular lakefront, historic neighborhoods, blue collar bars, blues clubs, stark back alleys, and epic industrial sites complemented with nearby farmlands, woods, and small towns preserved just as they were in decades gone by. Bred in the Windy City, Danielle Garnier has for nearly a decade worked to build her business in “Sweet Home Chicago.” The State of Illinois’ also offers a 30% film tax credit, which includes a diversity provision of an additional 15% for hiring locals in certain low-income areas. With projects continually in production, Illinois’ long-established film industry offers a broad professional crew base, high-tech facilities for all stages and needs of production, and a stunning range of actors, vendors and more. Being in the middle of the map has its advantages: With GRP’s vast and growing database, we can reach out in all directions and get immediate action. One of our key advantages as your rep-in-the Midwest is that we are embedded in the area and intimately familiar with all its industry workings. We’ll save you time and the added expenditures of flights, hotel/extended stays for you or crew, and everything else that adds up during time away from your desk. Our relationships are long and strong: We can cover your production publicity needs throughout the Midwest, and theatrically in cities across the country, including Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Dallas, Denver, Detroit, Miami, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, Montreal, New Orleans, New York, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle, St. Louis, Toronto, Vancouver, Washington State and Washington, D.C. While our primary realm remains Chicago and the Midwest, you can see we’ve covered a lot of territory. Let’s just say we’re expanding every day.
